Baker and Spike Base Camps

1.  The same superb fabric as used in all our units.

2.  All lean-to have a 12" turn in (sod cloth) which gives an airtight set-up when needed.

3.  A 12" flap on base camp and spike camp eliminating the gap at the upright poles when closed.

4.  All ties are 15" to 18" apart on the flaps and sides, not just one or two.  Seven ties across the front at the cross pole.

5.  The base camp and the spike camp are designed to accept one another if placed face to face.

6.  Rifle straps on both sides (optional).

7.  Front flap roll-up ties.

8.  Unique tie-up technique eliminates unnecessary sag and stress, all peg loops are on seams.

9.  Only six poles needed in basic set-up.  Loops are already installed for the addition of two more poles for snow support in the winter.

10.  Privacy curtains have a unique two rope installation allowing tight, no sag hanging.  A generous over-lap of 18" or more allows secure closing.

11.  Our unique and functional set-ups can give you maximum performance of your lean-to in any season, any temperature.  Versatility is the key to our comfortable, dry, and warm shelters.  Very simple, but detailed instructions are included.  We have learned from experience and observation.  We strive to solve problems, not create them.

Trapper

When you don't need a full-size tent for your needs and want to travel light, a Trapper is the way to go.  Similar to our Diamond Shelters and Trail Tarps on the "Utilities" Page, this simple wedge style tent has just enough room for your gear and sleeping, while staying protected from the elements.  Of course, our basic trappers are made to the same quality level as our full-size offerings.  Purchase one and enjoy the wide outdoors!
