Subaltern

 The Subaltern is an oval marquis (marquee) that has one of its ends flattened out.  This allows you to extend the overall size of your tent simply by adding a dinning fly.  This gives you an area more suitable for cooking in the hot summer or for creating an area to sell items.  You can also restrict the flow of customers or just the wind by adding side walls.  Side walls can also be unclipped from the fly, but still be secured half way down to allow a cross wind to pass through.  Let us know that you are buying a dinning fly for the subaltern so we can add the necessary rings that give you the ability to hang side walls.
